The Kingdom of Heaven is Here

The Kingdom of Heaven is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit and can be established for each and every one of God's children here on earth (Romans 14:17). It is the promise to return us back to God's intended condition for His people before the fall of man.

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the

Holy Spirit, (Romans 14:17 NIV).

God sent His son, Jesus to atone for our sin, so that we could live back in right relationship with Him. It is through Jesus that we are able to do that. We can live at peace in a world that is anything but, and we can have joy despite any and all of our circumstances. This is our promise. We can see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, we do not have to wait until we get to heaven to see it (Psalms 27:13).

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalms 27:13 NIV).

If we follow Jesus through the sin we were born into and through what we've become from being of this world, we will gain the victory over it. (Psalms 51:5 & Psalms 23:1- 6). We can try to go another way, we can try to go our own way, thinking we know better than God what is good and right. But, it will only end in destruction (Proverbs 14:12). Jesus is the only true way through, there has been no other found worthy.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me (Psalms 51:5 ESV).

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever (Psalms 23:1-6 NIV).

Prayer:

Father, thank you for your son and the completed work of the cross that has overcome everything that we will ever face in this lifetime. Your word said that you would provide the sacrifice and you did. Help us to believe and pull heaven into earth. There is nothing that we have become or are dealing with that your sons shed blood did not redeem or conquer. Help us to receive that truth, help us to overcome the lies of the enemy and all that he has sent to kill, steal, and destroy our lives and those of our family. Help us to know and believe that we can walk in and pull heaven into earth. Just as you intended for us from the beginning. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
